Senior Tax Manager

Caroline brings a wealth of experience and technical insight to Stone’s growing client base.


Among her responsibilities at Stone, Caroline prepares and performs detailed reviews of partnerships, Corporate, fiduciary and individual federal tax returns for accuracy, compliance and planning opportunities. She also represents clients with the IRS, state and local governments and drafts memoranda in response to various tax notices. Caroline’s extensive experience includes researching and analyzing tax and financial reporting issues utilizing a variety of research tools, including BNA Tax Planner, RIA Checkpoint. She also consistently provides training and mentoring for other team members. She has become a trusted advisor and resource to our clients, who have come to depend on her relentless focus and commitment to the highest level of client service.


Caroline graduated from Mount Holyoke College before going on to Northeastern University to earn a Master of Science in Accounting (MSA) and a master’s in business administration (MBA). She is a Certified Public Accountant and maintains an active license in Massachusetts. She’s active in professional associations, holding memberships in both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants (MSCPA). She is an MSCPA firm Ambassador, a member of the MSCPA tax committee, and was recently honored as one of the 2020 MSCPA Women to Watch Award recipients. Prior to joining Stone, she worked with two national CPA firms for several years.

Outside of work...

When Caroline kicks back, she can be found attending Disney Princess-themed tea parties with her 5-year-old daughter, cooking up comfort food for family and friends, or just relaxing while watching a game of basketball.
