As the tax partner for Stone & Company, LLC, Don works with various types of businesses and their closely-held owners, individuals, non-profits and trustees and executors with tax compliance and planning services. He is experienced with providing tax compliance and planning with corporate, partnership, individual, fiduciary and non-profit entities. Don also represents clients with the IRS and state and local authorities in regard to audits and tax notices. Don's experience includes working with law firms, healthcare, professional services, real estate, education, non-profit, retail and food service. Don also provides individual tax planning, retirement and estate planning to individual and other small business clients.

Don is also an adjunct professor at Suffolk University and has presented at various American Institute of Certified Public Accountants' conferences and webcasts. Don has co-authored various articles on taxation in professional journals, and has been quoted in the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Washington Post and other media. Don is also the past chair of the AICPA Individual and Self-Employed Tax Panel and has been appointed to serve on the AICPA's Tax Executive Committee. Don's experience includes servicing clients at the Big Four, national and local firm level where he had served as tax director. Don also has experience working within the trust department of a large financial institution.
