Nikhil Sequeira, CPA – Tax Director

Tax Director

Nikhil is a licensed CPA with 17 years of public accounting experience leading tax compliance and provision engagements for companies ranging from early-stage start-ups to established enterprises. His industry experience spans Manufacturing, Retail, Telecommunications, Technology, Financial Services, and Pharmaceuticals. 

In recent years, Nikhil has extended his expertise into AI product development, designing and deploying LLM-powered tax agents that translate complex tax workflows into repeatable, user-centric AI experiences. He has built retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines in Python, authored production prompt frameworks with built-in guardrails, and bridged deep tax expertise with hands-on AI engineering. 

Nikhil brings valuable forward-looking skills to the Stone team, and his experience in these areas, along with his tax advisory expertise, is highly valued by our clients and his Stone colleagues.

Outside of work… 

Nikhil enjoys playing guitar (PRS Silver Sky SE), soccer (a devoted Manchester United fan), and golf. He is simultaneously a foodie and a fitness enthusiast - he spends much of his life canceling out his own progress. He also enjoys driving his stick-shift Jeep Wrangler on cross-country road trips with car karaoke and the music turned all the way up.
