Senior Tax Consultant 

Don, a valued member of the Stone team, possesses over 40 years of combined experience in private and public accounting. Don has held C-level leadership positions both domestically and internationally. For over 15 years, Don has concentrated on navigating tax law and practice for individuals and small businesses. He has also been serving as the District Coordinator for the AARP Foundation Tax-Aide Program (VITA/TCE) in southern Massachusetts and he has seen a wide variety of tax-related issues. He has consistently helped clients to resolve their tax issues and provides valuable tax advisory services, as needed.

Don currently works with our clients providing strategic tax advisory services and is a valued resource for his colleagues here at Stone.

Outside of work

Don is passionate about his volunteer work and has a long record of service. Don volunteers for the Tax-Aide Program helping low to moderate income taxpayers, predominantly seniors, navigate the annual challenges of tax filing season. Favorite activities include walks on the Cape’s beaches and beating his family members at Fantasy Football (full disclosure, he rarely wins!).
