We have grown steadily, client by client, referral by referral, for the past 34 years. And in 2019, with our merger with RS Miller & Associates, we expanded our capabilities to a new level.
Phil and Matt Stone, brothers with extensive accounting backgrounds. founded the firm in 1986, specializing in providing tax, accounting, assurance, and business advisory services to privately-owned businesses, non-profit organizations and individuals. Stone’s reputation for service and client satisfaction has always been rock solid.
When the firm merged with RS Miller & Associates in 2019, Rob Miller took over as Stone & Company’s managing partner. After 25 years serving clients at virtually every stage, from start-ups to growth stage through more mature middle-market companies and non-profit organizations, Rob is excited to be at the helm of Stone leading a team of outstanding professionals. Rob brings deep experience to Stone, having worked in leadership roles at national accounting firms, including as a partner at two of the 15 largest firms in the country.
Now with its main office in Lexington, Stone is more than a firm that takes great care of our clients and people. We also take pride in being part of the larger community by contributing to civic causes and charities that help the Boston area be a better place.
